Foxfire Arctic Spitz is tucked away in the pristine New Hampshire countryside to the east and the breathtaking Oregon coast to the west. Our dogs can be seen romping in the rivers and ocean, playing with the children in green flowering pastures and joining us fireside when the snow and rain start to fall.
Foxfire Arctic Spitz encourages and promotes the intelligent and selective breeding of the Arctic Spitz for improvement and development of the breed. We strive to breed the very best family companions, with a thoughtful approach based both on current science and traditional good breeding practices.
Foxfire's Health Testing Protocol
Well-bred dogs incur a higher cost for good reason. A well- bred dog can be thought of as an investment - costing more up front to ensure a higher likelihood of paying less for health and behavioral issues over the life of the dog.
Here at Foxfire Arctic Spitz, we complete both health and genetic testing on each of our dogs. This includes OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certifications for hips, elbows, knees, heart and eyes.
We only breed dogs that pass these tests and will contribute to the betterment of the breed. We are determined to do what we can to develop the pomsky into a healthy, robust dog that will live many years as a devoted and beloved family companion. We do not cut corners and we do not compromise on these principles!
